Beam clip SPA 5P AU
A fastening onto beam systems should not involve screwing, as it would require drilling into the beam, potentially having an influence on the statics.The alternative of welding the component onto the beam is often material- and cost-intensive.
The ideal solution for an approved fastening onto the beam is offered by Sikla with the beam clip SPA 5P AU. The fastening point can be flexibly chosen and adjusted even after installation with the beam clip. Furthermore, such a fastening provides the opportunity to react quickly in maintenance situations, allowing for the removal of complete fastenings before maintenance and rebuilding them in the same location afterwards.
The beam clip SPA 5P AU is the first DiBT (German Institute for Structural Engineering) approved product that allows an approved, flexible clamping connection for various beam flange thicknesses without requiring additional spacers. A complex calculation for the selection of spacers is therefore not required.
To make the handling of the beam clip even more convenient, we have developed two assembly sets available in M12 and M16. Both sets, with and without stop plate, as well as the beam clip SPA 5P AU, are regulated in the general construction approval of the DiBT.
Assembly set 5P – A new generation in the field of clamping units!
By utilizing HR sets known from structural steelwork according to EN 14399-3 predetermined preload forces can be applied via predefined tightening torques – this is achieved by a defined friction coefficient between bolt and nut. The nut, coated with molybdenum disulfide, is particularly easy to tighten and ensures effortless assembly on the construction site.
The support plate ensures even distribution/application of the pre-tensioning force of the HR set, allowing it to be utilized efficiently and optimally.
